Get into the festive spirit and join us for a fun workshop where you'll create an adorable
Christmas pudding pot with a lid! This is a great chance to combine a few simple pottery techniques into one delightful project.
You'll start by mastering the thumb pot technique to form the rounded pudding base. Then, you'll add lovely, dimpled texture and craft a perfectly fitting icing lid. We'll top it all off with some classic holly and berries, or you can let your creativity shine and design your own unique decoration!
This is a fantastic workshop for both beginners and those with a bit of pottery experience, as you'll learn a fun mix of techniques while creating a beautiful festive pot to keep trinkets etc in.
Note the size of the finished pudding is approximately 8 to 10cm diameter.
All techniques will be demonstrated, and all materials and equipment will be supplied. Your puddings will need time to dry and be fired, so they will be ready for collection from the venue approximately two to three weeks after the workshop.
Tip: it's a little easier to get a smooth, even shape with shorter fingernails!
