WILLOW HEDGEHOG - FULL DAY WEAVING WORKSHOP
Spend a wonderfully relaxing day with Joelle Joanne discovering the traditional art of willow weaving as you create your very own charming hedgehog sculpture.
Perfect for complete beginners and those looking to try something a little different, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of transforming natural willow into a beautiful hedgehog full of personality. Under the expert tuition of your tutor, you'll learn the fundamental techniques of willow weaving, gaining the confidence to shape, weave and bring your creation to life.
Whether displayed in your garden amongst the flowers or proudly placed indoors, your finished hedgehog is sure to become a talking point. If you'd like to display yours outside, Joelle will also explain the best ways to preserve and protect your sculpture so you can enjoy it for years to come.
This is a wonderfully mindful workshop, allowing you to slow down, work with beautiful natural materials and enjoy the satisfaction of learning a traditional craft. By the end of the day, you'll head home with a unique handmade hedgehog and a new creative skill to be proud of.
Dimensions: Your hedgehog will be approximately 40cm long, however please bear in mind all makes may vary in size.
