Enchanting Toadstools

During this 3-hour workshop we'll be crafting charming pottery toadstool ornaments! These enchanting creations are perfect for adding a touch of magic to your garden or indoor space.

Open to all skill levels! This workshop is perfect for absolute beginners and seasoned potters alike. All materials and equipment will be provided, so you can simply come and play with clay! You will be guided through every step of the making process. Choose to make a majestic, single large toadstool or a cluster of up to 3 adorable little ones, with a glossy cap in a vibrant shade of red or colour of your choice. We will create a realistically detailed steam featuring a gilled underside to the cap. 

Join us for a fun workshop to make these stoneware (weatherproof) toadstools to add a touch of magic to your garden border.

For those who have attended previous pottery workshops, feel free to let your imagination run wild!  Add a ladybug, a curious caterpillar, or any other critter that tickles your fancy to personalise your toadstool.

Please note: Your pottery will need time to dry before being professionally fired and glazed. On the day, you'll be able to choose from a beautiful selection of rich, seasonal glazes to bring your toadstools to life. Your finished piece will be ready to collect from the studio approximately 3–4 weeks later, just in time to add a little handmade autumn magic to your garden.

Complexity Levels 2-3: The Maker (Intermediate)

• Focus: Introduction to clay, combining basic techniques and structural
  building.
• Experience: Suitable for beginners who feel a bit more confident or have
  patience.
