As the evenings draw in and the leaves begin to turn, join us for a wonderfully cosy pottery workshop where you'll handcraft your very own ceramic pumpkin or gourd to treasure year after year.

Using the traditional pinch pot technique, you'll create two pottery forms before joining them together to shape a beautiful pumpkin or gourd. Then comes the fun part – adding twisting stems, delicate leaves and your own unique finishing touches. Whether you prefer a beautifully natural harvest-inspired pumpkin or a magical lantern with carved stars, hearts or a friendly Jack-o'-lantern face, your creation will become a stunning piece of autumn décor.

This relaxed 2.5-hour workshop is perfect for complete beginners as well as those looking to build on their pottery skills. We'll guide you through every step, with all materials, tools and expert tuition included.

Please note: Your pottery will need time to dry before being professionally fired and glazed. On the day, you'll be able to choose from a beautiful selection of rich, seasonal glazes to bring your pumpkin to life. Your finished piece will be ready to collect from the studio approximately 3–4 weeks later, just in time to add a little handmade autumn magic to your home.

Complexity Levels 2-3: The Maker (Intermediate)

• Focus: Introduction to clay, combining basic techniques and structural
  building.
• Experience: Suitable for beginners who feel a bit more confident or have
  patience.
