Our most requested, sell-out workshop - back again (but never for long!)

If you’ve been waiting for this one… this is your sign ✨

Join us for a beautifully relaxed, hands-on session where you’ll create your own adorable Highland cow from clay - full of personality, charm, and those iconic shaggy locks.

You’ll be guided step-by-step through a simple pinch pot technique to form the body, before bringing your cow to life with a head, horns (go big or keep them sweet and subtle), and that all-important cute nose.

Then comes everyone’s favourite part - using our clay extruder to create that signature Highland cow fringe. It’s surprisingly satisfying and always gets a few smiles around the table!

No experience needed at all - this workshop is designed to be easy, mindful, and genuinely enjoyable, whether you come alone or with friends.

Your Highland cow will be around 10cm long and full of rustic charm. We keep the body in its natural clay for that soft, organic look, with the option to add a touch of glaze to the horns if you’d like a little extra detail.

Complexity Level: 3 - The Maker (Intermediate) This session is a fantastic Introduction to clay, combining basic techniques and structural building. Suitable for beginners who feel a bit more confident or have patience.

Included in your workshop:

  • All materials and equipment
  • Step by step instructions and demonstrations
  • Firing and glazing of your finished piece
  • Drinks and delicious cake
  • 10% OFF in the gift shop on the day

This class sells out year after year for a reason!

Please note your items cannot be taken home on the day. Your pottery will need to be dried, fired and glazed to the colour of your choice. They will be ready to collect from the venue approximately 2-3 weeks later.
