Join Kelly from Kelly Herrick Art - A local landscape artist, based here in Ripley.

Discover the colours, textures and patterns hidden in the natural world as we explore a range of playful mixed-media techniques. Using watercolour, soft pastel, stencils and layering, you'll experiment freely to create a collection of expressive artworks inspired by leaves, flowers, landscapes and the changing seasons.

This relaxed, friendly workshop is all about curiosity, creativity and enjoying the process rather than striving for perfection. Along the way you'll build confidence with new materials, discover fresh ways of seeing the world around you, and leave feeling inspired, refreshed and with a selection of beautiful nature-inspired pieces to take home.

Suitable for complete beginners and experienced creatives alike.

All materials are provided - just bring yourself and enjoy a few hours of creativity in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Meet the tutor: Kelly is a Derbyshire-based landscape artist. Her approach to art is all about creativity, expression, confidence, and letting go of perfection.

Kelly's workshops focus on helping people discover their own creative voice through colour, texture, mark-making, and learning to paint with feeling rather than pressure. Her teaching style is warm, encouraging, and beginner-friendly, making art feel accessible, exciting, and genuinely enjoyable for everyone.

And with over 14,000 students taught throughout her creative journey, she truly believes that everybody has creativity within them - sometimes they just need the right encouragement and a few painting techniques to help set it free!
