Fused Glass - Summer Waves & Hangings | Thursday 25th June - 6pm till 8.30pm
Join us for a bright and most certainly beautiful class, complete with refreshments and delicious cake.
Whether you’re inspired by a wildflower garden, fields of poppies, delicate bluebells or rolling hills of heather, you’ll love getting creative with glass shapes, colours and textures to design your own unique piece.
Choose from 3 options of pre-cut glass bases and create one of the following:
- Bowl – approx. 16cm
- Sculptural wave – 34cm x 7cm
- Round hanging panel – 17cm
You’ll decorate your piece by snapping glass rods, sprinkling crushed glass frit and adding frit balls to form your beautiful floral designs 🌸
Once complete, your creation will be taken back to Stevie’s studio for firing. Some pieces may require two firings, so please allow up to 3 weeks for your finished piece to be ready for collection.
- You will be working in a ‘clean’ workshop space - comfy clothes are recommended. As you will be working with sharp glass and tools please make sure you wear closed toe shoes (no open toe sandals or flipflops).
- Aprons will be provided if needed.
- Bring an open mind and willingness to play and experiment – oh and have lots of fun!
