It’s back! After a couple of years away - and plenty of requests for its return - our much-loved Seasonal Fused Glass Decorations Workshop is making a festive comeback!
Over the years we’ve created mini wreaths, twinkly stars, Christmas trees, Santas, Rudolphs and all sorts of gorgeous glass decorations, and this year Stevie will once again be bringing along a wonderful collection of festive designs and inspiration for you to choose from.
During this relaxed, creative workshop, you’ll make four individual fused glass Christmas decorations using pre-cut glass shapes, colourful glass elements and plenty of sparkly details.
You can follow Stevie’s example designs, mix and match different ideas, change colours and details, or put your own creative spin on them and come up with something completely unique.
No previous fused glass experience is needed and there’s no glass cutting involved, making this a lovely workshop for complete beginners as well as returning glass makers. Stevie will guide you through everything step by step, while leaving plenty of room for personalisation.
And because it wouldn’t be Christmas without a little sparkle, there’ll be lots of gorgeous glass embellishments and glitzy details to play with!
If you’re a speedy maker - or simply decide four decorations aren’t enough - you’ll also have the option to create additional decorations for a small extra cost on the day.
Once complete, your decorations will be left with Stevie to be carefully kiln-fired, cleaned and finished with colourful ribbon, ready to hang.
Pop them on your own Christmas tree, tie them onto a beautifully wrapped present, or give them away as completely unique handmade gifts. Even better, being made from glass, these are little keepsakes you can bring out and enjoy Christmas after Christmas.
Your finished decorations will be ready to collect from the studio approximately 2-3 weeks after the workshop - in plenty of time for Christmas.
