Weave Your Own Trio of Christmas Stars - Festive Willow Weaving Workshop with Joelle Joanne
Create Christmas decorations you’ll bring out year after year.
Spend a wonderfully festive evening discovering the traditional craft of willow weaving as you create your own beautiful set of rustic Christmas stars.
Using natural willow, you’ll be guided step by step through the weaving process, learning simple techniques as your stars begin to take shape. This is a lovely, hands-on workshop and no previous willow weaving experience is needed – just come along, get stuck in and enjoy the process.
You’ll have the opportunity to create up to three different-sized stars – approximately 60cm, 45cm and 30cm – depending on your individual pace on the day. Together they make a gorgeous statement display, but they look equally beautiful dotted around your home individually.
And once Christmas arrives, the styling possibilities are endless…
Keep them beautifully natural for a simple, rustic look, weave through some greenery, add ribbons or dress them with twinkling fairy lights for a little extra Christmas magic. Hang them on a wall, prop them on a mantelpiece, display them in a window or use them outdoors to create a gorgeous festive welcome.
Best of all, these aren't decorations you'll use once and throw away. Pack them away after Christmas and bring them back out year after year, adding something handmade and completely unique to your festive traditions.
