Modern Calligraphy for Beginners

During this workshop you will learn the basics of dip pen calligraphy. We'll begin by setting up your pen and getting comfortable with making shapes with the nib before learning how to write in modern calligraphy style. When you are happy forming letters and words, you will have the opportunity to complete a finished piece to take home with you. As it's a festive special, we'll be making gift tags and a Christmas card for you to take home to give to family and friends.

Your workshop cost includes your starter kit to use at the workshop and take home with you to continue practicing at home. All of the materials provided are the same quality as I use on a day to day basis. As it's Christmas, as well as a signature black calligraphy ink, we'll also enjoy writing in gold ink

It's recommended that you wear dark colours to your workshop just in case the black ink spatters as you write!

We will make every effort to ensure that your creative experience goes ahead on the confirmed date and time. However, should unforeseen conditions arise, an alternative date or time will be offered or a full refund will be given. Unfortunately, all our workshops are non - transferable and refunds cannot be given for cancellations. Bookings are confirmed with full payment.
