Wire leaf canvas - Wall art workshop
Join Judith for a nature inspired craft workshop where you’ll take inspiration from real leaves to create your own beautiful wire wall art to hang in your home.
Shown here are just a few examples of how you might create a composition from your wire leaves. Judith will guide you to create your own composition, or you can take inspiration from her examples. It’s hard to capture in photos, but this wire wall art is slightly 3D which really brings your work to life. Any leaves that you create, but don’t use in your finished piece (or go onto create after the workshop) could be used to embellish greeting cards, be added to mixed media collages or textiles, or with the addition of some ribbon, made into a hanging decoration, so a workshop that offers many options for nature inspired creativity into the future!
All wire (black & copper), one 20cm x 20cm square canvas frame, and use of tools is included. Judith will provide plenty of inspiration, but you are also welcome to bring along your own leaves from your garden too to personalise your art work.
You don’t need to have any previous experience of wire work to enjoy this workshop. All of Judith’s workshops are beginner friendly and she’s an experienced teacher.
